Sunday School
Classes meet at 10:00 in the Fellowship Hall (FH) unless otherwise noted
F3: Faith, Family and Friendship, FH Room 1
An unstructured alternative to traditional Sunday School, this roundtable of Christian friends meets weekly to talk about the challenges of faith-based parenting and modeling the Christian lifestyle in the workplace. The class is a good choice for parents of toddlers to teens looking for a support group of nurturing friends. The Faith, Family and Friendship Class also offers service and social opportunities for those searching for a new church family or hoping to reconnect with Christian principles i a non-judgmental environment. Actively seeking new members, a representative of the class will eagerly arrange to meet visitors (and their children) at the front door of the church before the 10:00 Sunday School hour. For more information or to schedule an escorted visit contact mark Kennedy 886-7667 or Jason Luna 314-7713.
Interpreter's Class, FH Room 2
The Interpreter's class was founded in the early 1970's. In fact, most of us weren't in the class at that time, but have joined over the years because of the outstanding fellowship gained through our shared Christian experiences. Our class consists mostly of people over 65, A couple of our members review and recommend study material. Sometimes we have a guest teacher, and leadership is shared by a core of volunteer teachers. Our topics may be scripture, study of Christian principles of living, and may take a lecture or discussion format depending on the teacher. We are very caring for one another and have great fellowship. We welcome visitors. Contact Dr. Larry Davis 886-6007 for more information.
Spares and Pairs, FH Room 3
Seekers.am, FH Room 4
This class consists of couples and singles in the mist of raising children and living life. They focus on studying books of the Bible with a teacher-facilitated discussion. Please contact Shanna Brooks 886-2500 for more information.
Seekers.pm, upstairs room 313 and chapel area - 5-7 Sunday evenings
Some of the morning Seekers class found that they could never come to Sunday School because we were always helping in other capacities on Sunday mornings. So we decided to meet on Sunday evenings. At 5:00 we share a family potluck dinner. Then we take our children to their activities and regroup for fellowship and study until about 7:00. We find joy in being together and welcome new people to join us. Contact Laurel Zahrobsky 886-0066 or LZahrobsky@gps.edu for more information.
The Wesley Class, FH Room 5
This class takes their name from the founder of the methodist movement, John Wesley. The class is aptly named, as they enjoy lively dialog and discussion, and are true to Wesley's motto (paraphrased) "think and let think." Please contact Dick Gee 886-2527 for more information.

The Parks Fellowship Class, upstairs, Room 317, 9:45 am
This class is comprised of senior adult singles and couples. They use the Cokesbury International Study Sunday School Curriculum, and enjoy traditional Christian fellowship and singing together from the Cokesbury Hymnal. Contacts for this class are Bill Mitchum 886-6089 and Cleo Long 886-1693.
The Women's Class, upstairs, library (room 320)
"Free therapy and lots of laughter" is what you will find in the Women's class. Women of all ages and stages get together in this class to discover spiritual Truth and Light through open discussion of various books.
The Women's Class is doing a six week Lenten study, "The Genesis of Grace" by John Indermark. This study will conclude on Easter Sunday, April 24.
If you haven't attended class in a while, we have missed you! We're making the best of our intimate classroom, but there's always room for more!
