Your First Visit to Signal Crest

Welcome,

We are glad you have decided to stop by and see what we are all about...

Getting to the church
Signal Crest is located at 1005 Ridgeway Ave., Signal Mountain, TN 37377.  There is an information desk just outside of what we call the "Narthex" which is a big open room just outside of the sanctuary where people gather before and after services.  The greeters at the information desk will assist you with whatever you need.  Greeters wear name tags that say "Greeter" or "Usher" on them.  

Where do I park?
Our main parking lot is beside the church building located just off of Taft Highway. We also have additional parking behind the church which you can enter from Laurel Street and at 308 Laurel. The spaces that are next to Laurel Street are reserved for anyone with special needs. We have golf cart shuttle service from your car to the church. 

How should I dress?
While some folks like to wear their "Sunday best," most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning and Wednesday night. During the summer months, we especially encourage everyone to dress appropriately casual.

Do I need to bring anything?
If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. We have Bibles in the pews too.

When should I get there?
Our services begin at 8:30am, 9:00am and 11:00am. Sunday School for all ages begins at 10:00am.

What about my children and/or youth?
Signal Crest has excellent preschool, children's, and youth ministries. Greeters at the door or behind the information desk will direct you.  Our nursery cares for babies from six weeks to three years old. Our children's ministry offers a special children's church during the 11:00 service. Middle school and high school students meet for Sunday School at 10:00 am in "the Loft" on the upper floor of the church.

We are thinking about attending the Crest service and could nit find the Crest Center on your map. Is that the multipurpose room on your .pdf map?

Starting Point

Starting Point is a 3 week introduction to Signal Crest for the purpose of acquainting guests and newer members with our church. It is offered during the second month of each quarter: February, May, August, and November. Held in Fellowship Hall room 104 at 10:00 am on Sundays.

Week 1: Signal Crest Overview

Hear about where Signal Crest is on the theological spectrum. We are firmly United Methodist and stand theologically with mainline, orthodox Christianity.

Week 2: Who’s Who & What’s What

Meet the church staff and hear about ministries going on at Signal Crest.
